Come and join in the Messy Church fun.....

Messy Church is an opportunity for all young families to take part in art and crafts in a safe Christian environment. We meet once a month to explore bible stories through drawing, painting, collage, cookery, model making and anything else we can think of!

WHAT IS MESSY CHURCH?
A relaxed and informal church with a warm welcome for the whole family with crafts, songs, food - and plenty of opportunity to have fun and make a mess!
• Children - a place to meet new friends and learn new things
• Mums, dads, grandads, grandmas, carers - a place to spend quality time with your children and grandchildren and make links with other families
The format:
4.00pm - 4.10pm Messy Welcome - make your own name label and find out what's happening in todays session
4.10pm – 5.10pm Messy Craft - An hour of craft and other activities based on todays theme
5.10pm - 5.30pm Messy Worship - A short time of celebration in the church as we draw together everything we've been looking at today
5.30pm - 6.00pm Messy Meal - No need to rush home to feed the family - relax and share some food with us
There is no charge for Messy Church which is supported by Chislehurst Methodist Church, although donations are always gratefully received to help fund our craft activities.
Our Messy Church sessions are on the second Saturday of the month between 4-6 pm. There is no Messy Church in July or August because of the summer holidays.
To celebrate Easter and Christmas we usually hold a special Messy Church session which takes place in the school holidays.
